Memory lane!

I've just been down memory lane, and boy did I go back far!!!

I was thinking about my early gaming days. These were games for like the ZX Spectrum and the Sega Master System II. Who remembers those babies???

Well, one game I most certainly remember was Space Harrier 2. I first got this for the ZX Spectrum. Man it got me addicted it really did! Some guy flying around firing at aliens, what more could you ask for.... well back then it was exciting.

Anyway, I decided to take my route down memory lane to YouTube! YES!!!! I found some videos!

This is a video of Space Harrier 2 on the ZX Spectrum. Some of you youngsters will laugh at how this would have got me addicted, but trust me in those days games like this were awesome!

I know, I know, you can't stop laughing at it! I even loved the music back then.

Anyway, I was extremely pleased to know that they brought it out for the Sega Master System II back then too, and so i got it. It was a much better version, graphically and musically.

As you can see the Sega version was much better. There are so many games that I used to love playing and i've started remembering them all. I might post about a few more later.

So who else had a ZX Spectrum or Sega Master System II? Got any favourite games from your childhood?

I had a Sega when i was little. Used to play a lot of Mario and a Space Invaders! Then it was Doom 2...Now THAT was a great game!

Anyone remember Duck Hunt on Nintendo' NES. That was the start of the Console Generation in my opinion. Even back then Nintendo pushed the boundaries of computing. A Light Gun! who had anything even close to that? No one, for years. Nintendo, I salute you. Just bring out some proper games on the Wii and I may put you back on my Christmas card list.

I remember the Mario days . . . The best one in the series was the Lost Levels../ :shocked:

Super Mario All Stars ;) The first game I remember saving on (apart from the 386 PC games xD)
