I'm thinking about getting involved in one of these games.
A long time ago I nearly joined Everquest because a buddy at work would rave about it. Problem was my computer at the time wasn’t up to scratch! I think my PC should be up to speed now.
Can anyone recommend one to me? How much time should I commit a week to playing? Will I join one and just be fodder for veterans to abuse?
Would any of you baby sit me for a while if I joined?

I've never played any of those myself, but i'd definitely be interested in joining you. I hear people mention them all the time so it would be good to find out what it's all about.

I watched the WoW episode of South Park yesterday. I think if I can find time WoW is the one for me. B. A. Baracas plays it, It must be good.

WoW is too overpriced, with poor graphics and way too large community.
Full of botters, gold diggers and gold sellers. :huh:

I enjoyed World of Warcraft for a while, I got 6 toons to level 80 but just got bored with the game. I don't hate it by any means and $15 a month is roughly 50 cents a day so it wasn't bad.

I started playing WoW a couple of days ago. I've only got a 10 day free trial to start. I'll let you know how I got/get on soon.

You would be surprised how similar they are, WoW just has better graphics!

Wow was pretty cool for about a week or so, but it was just kind of getting expensive to play. I've played Wow on a free private server, but it wasn't as good as playing on the paid server.

How do you get on the Free Server? Do you still get the quests?
I agree it's pricey, I would probubly only play 5-10 times a month, which isn't enough to justify the £15. I think Blizzard should do a £1 a day or even £0.50 per half day. Then i would be more interested.
