Gt5 - 3d

So I heard recently that the next installment of Gran Turismo, GT5 is going to have bits that are in 3D. Now I can imagine that being rather awesome in a racing game. It seems 3D is becoming the norm these days.... i'd be impressed if they developed 4D. ;)

Anyway for you to experience GT5 in 3D you still need specialist equipment. Your PS3 will need 3D enabling firmware, specialized TV capable of broadcasting the stereoscopic picture, and the 3D glasses required to view the 3D.

Now this is exciting with a hint of depressing!
I'd love to play GT5 in 3D. But I almost certainly won’t be able to. Not because I'm rubbish at racing games, but because I don't have the money to buy all the extra kit you will almost definitely need.
What happened to the good old fashioned red and green cardboard glasses?

GT5 would be a great game for 3D. Do you have to wear 3D glasses?

I recon you would need 3D glasses and a now Sony 3D TV. Thst is why I will miss out! Too much money.
