Sony have decided that there is money to be made by charging a subscription to the online network, just like Microsoft.
The main difference is that you can still play online games without subscribing to Plus, where on Microsoft you can only look at things and download demos.
Playstation Plus offers Downloads and demos as usual, but you will also be entitled to free content and, from what I've heard, full game downloads that you are free to play for an hour! Obviously then you have the option to purchase the full game once you're hooked.
I like the sound of this. If you are really enjoying a game you can buy is safe in the knowledge that it's your sort of game. But if its a stinker (we've all made mistakes) you simply delete it from the hard drive! Simple.
Just like Microsoft it cost just £40 a year (with a 90 day at £12 option).
So what do you think? anyone likely to give it a go? I think i might just have to.
