Earlier in the year we brought you the debut trailer for the latest edition to the Civilization franchise, Sid Meier's Civilization V. The trailer, as it was only the debut one, was very short and didn't really provide any indication of the game play footage that we will experience in this game. It was quite obviously still in the very early development stages.

During the E3 2010 event this year in Los Angeles a new game trailer was unveiled for Civilization V that included a large amount of game play footage. This trailer gives a stunning view of how game play has changed and advanced since Civ 4.

Civ 5 is built with a new game engine and provides even more detailed graphics and fighting scenes ever seen before in the Sid Meier franchise and you'll encounter more life like videos during diplomacy scenes and world wonder creations.

This is looking to be the most advanced Civilization game yet, and I don't know about you but i'm excited. It is due for release in Q3/Q4 2010 so not really that long to go until we see it on our shelves.
