Thread: Anyone played LA Noire yet?

What are your thoughts? I cant wait to get my hands on this game. It looks amazing.

umm no i haven't i was going to hold off on this for a little while... only because the last rockstar game everyone was bigging up was boring (red dead) so was going to wait and see what people said about it before considering getting it

Red Dead...Boring?!?! I'm shocked! I haven't played Red Dead yet but it had really good reviews! I'm sure i'll get round to playing Red Dead at some point, but it dosen't have the same appeal as LA Noire to me.

Indeed he has, and now he's completed it, he's lent it to me. It's really good so far. I'm assuming the game is long because it's over THREE DISKS!!!
I spent a couple of hours playing last night and first impressions are that it’s pretty good. The story is quite engaging and the animation is verging on film quality. Definitely the best I've seen in a game. Weirdly, I thought it was a 1940's Gangsta game not a Detective game.

I got it coming tomorrow from LoveFilm. Gotta finish Batman before I jump in to this one.
